Our lives were turned upside down when my husband was innocently involved in a horrific accident! We are very blessed that he survived. As the days, weeks, and months passed it became evident that his injuries were permanent and that has been devastating. We didn’t hire an attorney for the first year because my husband thought he would lose his job that he had worked so incredibly hard to obtain. After a year, he was fired anyway. We then searched for an attorney. It turned out we didn’t pick one that was knowledgeable enough about how trucking cases work, nor was he humble enough to admit that for over 3 years. What a relief it was to have someone truly on our side! The airport meeting worked! He was able to settle our case that day! Wow! And he settled it for exactly what he prepared us for. The only mistake we made was choosing the wrong attorney from the beginning. I thank God for sending Jay to us when we desperately needed him. He was more than we ever could have expected! Jay is a leader, an amazing negotiator, and a force to be reckoned with! When the defense saw that he was taken over our case, they were in a hurry to settle. In closing, nothing will ever make what happened right, but Jay Vaughn went above and beyond to get every dollar possible so that my husband can get the care he needs!
